A fabulous place this. A delightful shopping area in a lovely location. The cafe/restaurant is also very good as well. That offers theme nights on Fridayβs. Prices are generally not too bad either. Looking forward to their Christmas shopping events.

A lovely mill on the Exe river. you can see the mill wheel turning inside the shop with gears and millstones. There is a nice park for children with a ridable minitrain close by. There is arched bridge over the Exe river that is quite beautiful and 400 years old.

Dropped in to escape the M5 traffic. The food was beautiful; bags of flavour and very well presented. It was a very busy bank holiday but they managed to fit us in and serve us in a very acceptable time.

without a doubt the best food we tried whilst staying in bickleigh slightly back off the main road bickleigh mill with a home cooked menu with food cooked in the oven and not a deep fat fryer, my wife and i stayed at the cot a beautiful location dripping in history but was only let down by the menu,we tried the trout but found it cold and unloved so much potential wasted. liked shopping in tiverton quaint little town see you soon devon.

This is a little gem within Bickleigh that my partner & I wanted to try & when we did we were blown away with the quality of the food. When we have been on our own or with family/friend's, we've found that the best food is in the evenings. There is a specials menu with a variety of foods on offer each day. The shop is really lovely too, just watch out for the delicious looking chocolates. We're yet to try any of their chocolate, but our temptations with cave soon I'm sure.

We had a delicious lunch here, and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The shop is an Aladdin's cave of goodies - well worth a visit! Unlike another reviewer we found the coffee to be lovely, with the beans freshly ground for my latte.

Superb place in the most beautiful place in the country. The restaurant deserves a 3 star Michelin rating. The service is second to none with very intelligent staff who will recommend to you where to visit in the area. A more professional manner and the staff are aware of the all the mill has to offer. I cannot wait to be able to make another visit. If wasps are the only thing to worry about I suggest that you speak to your psychologist. I an sure he will be able to help you. P.S. try to get a life.

Really impressed by the food and service we received at my brother-in-law's 60th birthday meal at Bickleigh Mill last Saturday evening. The food was excellent - mackerel pate especially - generous portions, fresh high quality ingredients and everything tasted delicious. The staff were attentive, efficient, patient and friendly. All in all, excellent value and quality - thank you to everyone concerned for giving us such an enjoyable evening.

A firm favourite of mine is Bickleigh Mill, a family run restaurant housed in former Mill (my mother in law used to work in it in the 60's). They have been producing some excellent value food for years, and we visited a while back to take advantage of their Sunday menu.Best roast potatoes I've had eating out for a very long time. Crisp and flavourful, the whole meal was a success. There was a small incident with some milk, but this didn't overshadow our experience and will be returning for their Sunday roasts as soon as I can.On a previous occasion the manager printed out some photos of the mill during it's working life for my mother-in-law. It was a very special visit as it was not long after my father in law passed away. The food is consistent, good value and the staff are incredibly accommodating.

Had a cream tea for two adults. Sat outside as the sun was shining with our dogs and children. A unexpected massive coach party arrived at the same time as us but it didn't make them panic. Cream tea served quick and was delicious. A bit more milk would have been good as had to keep asking for a top up as a tiny jug between two. The resident peacock was on full show showing off his gorgeous feathers which my two toddlers enjoyed.

Came across this place by accident, stopped for lunch, it was really busy but staff were really nice and helpful ,finding us a table, right next to the old mill wheel which was lovely. Served promptly, food was freshly cooked, hot and very tasty, we both had ham, egg and chips, eggs had bright orange yolks and tasted fab, lovely atmosphere good value and then a host of arts and crafty type shops at the venue. Well worth s visit

Staff are always helpful and pleasant. A good place for a treat for my son after a long day of volunteering. He loved the Tiramisu with raspberry ice cream. Just a really nice peaceful spot. Choice of gifts aren't all out of reach either. I wandered around thinking I hope prices don't go higher before Christmas as there were lots of things I would like to get for my kids.

Just met an old friend there and didn't know anything about the place before we got there. The food was fantastic and would recommend to others also a lovely location. Maddy was our waitress and was a pleasure having her tend to our table, she had a good sense of humor and made the evening.

A lovely place to visit before hitting the motorway home or of course to visit in any case. Lovely scenic setting and a labyrinth of a shop to walk around that has just about everything and anything for sale. A good choice of menu items as equally good prices, a super breakfast as you can see! Very friendly servers and some lovely art work for sale on the walls. All in all, a nice rest-stop that is well worth the time.

Stumbled across this place and thought we'd give it a whirl.Lovely setting with the watermill , peacocks and a variety of bridges!Food was pretty good, we had the sharing picnic. Chutney was gorgeous, asked what it was and was told fig and apple. If I'd have been told that before I would have turned my nose up! So it goes to show you... try everything once! πCoffee was okay, nothing special and tap water was cold.Shops were cute, possibly a bit girly... bags, jewellery, teddy's etc...Peacocks sat on the fence as you came out the back entrance. Absolutely gorgeous close up.Will definitely book here for the whole family. Enjoyed it!

Lovely coffee and caramel slice, in a beautiful setting. Staff very pleasant and helpful.Visited again today, 17/7/23. I enjoyed a lovely sausage sandwich and coffee, sitting in the garden in the sunshine. A special mention to the waitress who served me, she was new and still learning the job, however she was really polite, welcoming and cheerful. She seems a real asset to the business.Enjoyed a lovely return 112ml motorcycle ride to here. One of my favourites. Very friendly service, lovely latte, and teacake in a lovely setting.

We went for my Wife and her Twin Sisters Birthday. With her Daughter and Boyfriend. We all had a Cream Tea β. One of the Diners were Celiac so had to be careful what to order. The Table was cleaned down properly to be sure everything was ok. Also the food was gluten free. We really enjoyed what we had.ππππ. Then followed by Ice Creams π¦π¨all round well nearly. We also had a good look around in the Shops. And bought some nice things for Home. The Staff and Waitresses were Fantastic and Professional ππππ. Look Forward to Calling Again.
